This shoe has worked wonders for this flat footed
overpronator. Needed a new pair of running shoes this summer
and tried a less structured model from Nike. Bad
mistake--ended up with a nasty shin splint in my left leg.
After recovering, I picked up the NB M1122, and have had no
problems since then.

I like the support and style of this shoe. It feels very
solidly built. It gives great support in the heel. I thought
it was too long when I first got the shoes but started
wearing them and feel they are just a little longer than
other size 11 shoes I've owned. I haven't had them for long
but I think they're going to be the best athletic shoes I've

I started having significant trouble with my right foot. I
purchased this shoe because I read that it was recommended
for foot troubles. The instant I put these on they started
to make a significant difference. This shoe does more good
for my foot while walking than sitting in a chair does for
it while it's propped up with ice. I expected it to improve
things but it far exceeded my expectations.

These are great shoes, especially for daily use. I am not a
runner, and I have never worn a running shoe until now.
Being 6'3, at 300 pounds, I put a lot of pressure on my
shoes, and have always stuck with the cross trainers (MX853
and MX1007) which are good shoes, but was advised by a local
New Balance store that for forward motion, this 1122 model
would work out great for me, and they have. I also pronate
and this shoe helps greatly. I use one of the New Balance
motion control inserts, as well, which I highly recommend.
